As it was for many, the lockdowns of 2020/21 were a catalyst for change. This is when Nuthatch began to take shape. We wished to create a unique space for guests, unlike many others that can be found in the area and on the holiday market in general. A retreat that would be characterful, warm, accessible and inviting. A holiday home with soul and sustainable credentials. One that would be a nod to the artists we’ve met over the years, encompassing our enduring love of foliage, meaningful objects and beautiful textures. A place that celebrates the creativity, beauty and food of the Forest of Dean and the wider Wye Valley and Gloucestershire region.
