If you can, bring some afternoon snacks, a piece of cheese, or something to augment the curry or dessert options if you’d like.

We will be trying to shift our random drinks cabinet and that will be supplemented by local ale and cider, ice and mixers. Please bring what you like to drink.

ENTERTAINMENT

Thanks to all the DJs who have already put a hand up or shared playlists. If anyone wants to do a turn, sing a song, lead a dance or snap a twig please let me know. Weather permitting we will have PA, mics, XLRs, a Keyboard, DI inputs, decks, mixers and laptops, to plug and play.

Late night garage boogie (///curtains.motoring.hazy , ///cringes.idealist.happily) . I just need to tidy the bomb site/studio and it’ll be downtown NYC circa ‘74/84/94.

SUNDAY - If you're staying, come back for breakfast/brunch eggs and coffee.

Then Three-Sided Walking Football

Blakeney’s inaugural intergenerational, tri-sexual, three sided shuffle match will kick off post brunch (whenever that is).

Surreal Madrid vs Venn City vs Brokeney Wanderers

To be held in Blakeney at The Butts (///husky.slouched.regularly)

Some 3-sided veterans will be on loan from Bristol TSWF to help show new signings how to triangle the circle.

TRAVEL
It is possible to catch the train to Lydney Station - (35mins from Gloucester/Cheltenham, 45-1hr from Bristol). Depending on the time or arrival you could see pick-up options below or pre-book…..
The Robin, a bus you can book in advance (2 weeks to 1hr before pickup). You need to register and it is £2 a ride. Our stop is Ayleford Turn, just 1 min from our door.

PARKING (see various maps at bottom of this page to guide you)

Parking is a challenge so please car-share if poss but we have a vague plan.

We have 2 driveways (Valley View & Nuthatch Retreat) that can accommodate 12/14 cars between them, first come, first served, and park nice and tight! No valet, so please put a note in the window with your name and phone number.

High clearance vehicles / camper vans can park just off the main road up on the lumpy grass area demarked with red rope and marked magenta on the 2nd map here -  ///grownup.body.soonest . Space for 8+ cars/vans here.

Please do not park in the area that looks like a lay-by/hard-standing, up the hill by us, as this is our neighbours plot. I will demark it.

Additional parking:

  • 5min walk down our lane there is space for 6+ cars by our neighbours barn (///spaces.rotations.cake). Please park tight and leave a name and number in the window.

  • Parking for 5-6cars at a house Rowandean - image below (///arrive.ogre.risk) . 10min walk up/down the road or 20min walk through the woods - yellow line on the map. Bring a torch if you fancy that. Lots of deer in those woods!

  • There are some potential parking spots in Blakeney marked in pink on the map below. Start with the village carpark at Butlers Mead (///whirlwind.holly.cape). See taxi pickup options.

Down to earth TAXIs (TUBER)

There aren’t many Taxis in the area so we have booked Martin Hill Taxi’s to do shuttle runs up and down to the village and to Lydney accommodation during these times - 2pm til 5pm, 10pm-11pm and 1am-2.30am.

Please call Martin on o7551300100 during these hours to arrange a pick-up/drop-off.

A contribution to Taxi’s would be greatly appreciated.

ACCOMMODATION

Camping

There are 10 or so camping pitches in a friend’s (Thanks B&C) orchard down at Manchester House (///grad.barn.overtime) in Blakeney. Toilet in the utility room in the house. Come to side gate - image below.

* Please let me know if you’d like a pitch *

Between Lydney and Blakeney there is a bonifide campsite - http://www.forestoakfarm.co.uk/site/staying-with-us/caravans-and-camping

Other

Most Airbnb style accommodation is pretty booked out or 2night minimum stay but you can possible find some on Google maps, booking sites.

There is still a spare room in local airbnb staying with Rod's family plus some sofas and inflatable at Nem's mum's house in Lydney so please let us know if you want to stay the night and are really stuck for accommodation.

DOGS

We love dogs but inside Nuthatch is no animal zone so we can offer it as pet-hair free accommodation to allergic guests. With the doors wide open it would be tricky to prevent free running beasts from going in there. As non-doggy people, we are not sure how it can work but maybe your lovely mutts will be happy teathered outside?

Where’s it at

Our post code is not great for Satnav so please search
